SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT NAMES ANDI ISAACS SVP OF PRODUCTION
Los Angeles, CA September 6, 2007 — Strengthening its production arm, Summit Entertainment has appointed Andi Isaacs as SVP of Production, Head of Physical Production. In this role, Isaacs will oversee the physical production of all in-house film productions for the newly founded studio. Bob Hayward, Summit Entertainment's COO, to whom Isaacs will report, made the announcement today.
"Andi is a great fit for us here at Summit," said Hayward. "She has worked for us as an independent contractor on our movies over the last two years and has really delivered. She has extensive knowledge of film production and a great ability to head off problems before they occur. Also, importantly, she is well liked by filmmakers."
Isaacs recently served as a Production Executive for Walt Disney Pictures from 2004-2006. Prior to her role at Disney, she worked as freelancer in all areas of production both domestically and internationally including production supervisor, accountant, and studio representative for both independent and major studios. During her time as a freelancer she was involved with the production of such titles as NATIONAL TREASURE, SOMEONE LIKE YOU, THE PACIFIER and THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY. Isaacs started her career as a craft service PA 17 years ago in New York.
Summit Entertainment's production group has been very active since the studio's launch in April, 2007. Summit currently has two movies in production — GET SOME and STEP UP 2 THE STREETS, as well as several projects in pre-and post production including PUSH currently in pre-production in Hong Kong.
