SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT CONTINUES TO BLOSSOM WITH ENDGAME ENTERTAINMENT'S THE BROTHERS BLOOM

Studio Acquires North American Rights to the Film Written and Directed by Rian Johnson Starring Academy Award® Winners Adrien Brody and Rachel Weisz along with Mark Ruffalo and Oscar® Nominated Actress Rinko Kikuchi

Los Angeles, CA October 25, 2007 — Summit Entertainment announced today that it has acquired North American distribution rights to the highly anticipated romantic adventure, THE BROTHERS BLOOM, produced by Ram Bergman and financed and produced by Endgame Entertainment's James D. Stern. The film stars Academy Award® winners Adrien Brody and Rachel Weisz along with Mark Ruffalo and Oscar® nominated actress Rinko Kikuchi. THE BROTHERS BLOOM is written and directed by Rian Johnson (BRICK). Summit's early buy of the rights to the film aligns with the studio's strategy of acquiring material at all stages of development and production. The acquisition comes while the film is in post-production allowing Summit to take the film off the table and begin to plan for a theatrical release in 2008.

THE BROTHERS BLOOM is executive produced by Endgame's President of Production Wendy Japhet and President and COO Doug Hansen.

The film tells the tale of the Bloom brothers, two young con men whose lives change forever upon meeting an attractive young heiress named Penelope (Weisz). While initially, the brothers plan to con her, she becomes an unlikely partner in their latest scheme. The plot thickens when Penelope's beauty and brains enchants one of the brothers, and threatens to break a lifelong bond of kinship. THE BROTHERS BLOOM is a thrilling con man story full of genuine humor and heart-warming romance.

"We are thrilled to have acquired THE BROTHERS BLOOM. It's smart, sexy, and fun," said Erik Feig, President, Production, Summit Entertainment. "Rian is a deeply talented director, the cast is stellar, and the producing team top-notch. Landing this film now is a perfect example of our ability and willingness to move quickly and aggressively."

"We look forward to a great collaboration with Summit on behalf of this film," stated Endgame Chairman and CEO James D. Stern. "Having worked with such a talented director, a stellar cast and an excellent producer we look forward to bringing the film to audiences worldwide."

The film reunites Johnson and Bergman, who teamed on the critically acclaimed feature BRICK, which won the Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and was released by Focus Features. The Weinstein Company International will handle foreign sales at AFM.

Michael Schaefer, Summit's Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions brought the studio the highly sought after film. CAA negotiated the deal on behalf of the filmmakers.
